The Illinois Police Officers' Pension Investment Fund (IPOPIF) must comply with or deny a request for records within 5 business days, unless the records request is for commercial purposes which must be complied with or denied within 21 business days. A five-day extension is allowed with written notification to the requester.
The Illinois Freedom of Information Act allows for the imposing of fees for the copying of requests for public records to reimburse its actual cost for reproducing and certifying public records.
